Do you have a second refrigerator or freezer wasting energy? We're offering to remove and recycle them for you at no cost and you receive $125 for each working appliance recycled. In addition, you can also recycle your old dehumidifiers and earn $30. Read Eligibility Requirements below for more information.

COVID-19 Safety Information

In compliance with Covid-19 Safety Standards provided by the State, we have resumed offering in-home pickups for your convenience. To keep our customers and employees safe, we have implemented several safety measures, including:

Social Distancing

Workers will practice social distancing whenever possible with customers and all other crew members. When unable to physically distance more than 6 feet, additional PPE will be required.

Training

All on-site workers are required to complete online training on new safety measures in order to be eligible for work.

Wellness Checks

Employees must follow any state or local requirements regarding health screening to clear them to begin work. Workers who are sick in any way are instructed to stay home.

Contactless Option

Should you wish to eliminate in-person contact, we're offering Contactless Pickup. Watch this brief video to learn how our safe, no-contact pickups work.

Customer is voluntarily participating in the appliance recycling program ("Program") and understands that for the customer to participate in the Program, the customer must move the appliance to a place on the customer's premise where the recycling vendor can pick up the appliance without contact with the customer or other persons. It is the customer's sole and exclusive decision to participate in the Program. By participating in the Program, the customer assumes all associated risks and liability, including without limitation, injury to or death of persons, property damage and any COVID-19 risks. National Grid assumes no liability or responsibility and makes no representations, warranties or guarantees whether statutory, oral, written, express, or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
